User Agreement & Platform Service Policy

By using Safar Mitra, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Safar Mitra app and website, you agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Safar Mitra connects riders with independent drivers.

2. Role of Safar Mitra

Provides a digital platform to connect riders and drivers
Does NOT operate vehicles directly
Does NOT employ drivers as full-time staff
Does NOT guarantee driver availability
Drivers operate independently and are responsible for their services

3. User Eligibility

Must be at least 18 years old
Must provide accurate personal information
Must use the platform lawfully
Accounts may be suspended for false information

4. Booking & Ride Responsibility

Safar Mitra facilitates ride requests and shares trip details
Transportation service is provided by drivers, not Safar Mitra
Not responsible for delays, disputes, or behavior issues

5. Pricing Policy

Fare is indicative and may vary based on distance, waiting time, route changes, tolls, and taxes
Final fare is confirmed at trip completion

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges may apply after driver assignment
Charges apply if customer is unavailable
Repeated cancellations may lead to suspension

7. User Conduct

No harassment of drivers
No illegal goods
No vehicle damage
No misuse of platform
Violations may lead to permanent suspension

8. Driver Conduct

Must have valid license
Must maintain vehicle documents
Must follow traffic laws
Must behave respectfully
Violations may lead to removal

9. Limitation of Liability

Safar Mitra is only a technology platform
Not liable for accidents, injuries, or baggage loss
Not responsible for driver misconduct or delays
Responsibility lies with driver and customer

10. Account Suspension

Accounts may be suspended for fraud or misuse
Policy violations may lead to immediate action

11. Changes to Terms

Terms may be updated anytime
Continued use means acceptance
